Heidi gossen- presidentThe inklings of Crossfire started somewhere around 2006….we have been traveling this road in various degrees since then. I have found it to be “all things” but above all I have found this journey one of the greatest faith builders next to being a wife and mom. It is only by the grace, goodness and wildness of God that Crossfire is. It is only by His direction that it should continue.
At this stage of life my background has a variety of stories, twists and turns. My background is in people, people watching, studying and learning. I have a degree in psychology & sociology that speaks to my people curiosity… followed up by various certifications in life & leadership coaching, lay counseling, and mental health coaching. Much of my adult life was raising our family, an endeavor I cherish beyond words. I’ve worked in the social services arena in a few different capacities, coaching toward healthy relationships and choices with their children. Currently I serve as the co-pilot of Crossfire Ranch and immensely enjoy developing relationships with our families, kids & supporters. I love watching kids “unfold” as they experience the goodness of relationships with our equine friends and mentors, a taste of the goodness of God. I am a wife, mom of three fine adults, two son-in-laws (and am soon to be a first time Nanna!), farm-girl-at-heart and lover of adventures…undergirded and built upon the foundation and freedom found in Christ. Fun tid-bits… I hitch hiked through New Zealand, Bungee jumped off a 125 foot bridge and find that it is in solitude or deep conversation I find I am renewed. I’m thankful for my dad who always exhibited that I had what it takes to do life and offered opportunities to try many things, who had the playfulness of a child tucked in his heart and a twinkle in his eyes. |
paige pollard- secretaryI have been a part of Crossfire since the inception in some capacity or another.
Currently I work at a veterinary clinic as a receptionist and equine assistant, and have been there the last six years. Before that most of my work history has been horse or dog related in some form or another. My husband Terrell and I married in 2017 after meeting three months prior, and are owned by our two dogs, one horse and probably too many house plants. In my spare time, I enjoy house projects as we chip away at updating our old farm house, hiking all the trails with my trusty dog sidekicks, a good taco, planning our next trip, and quietness. |
wendy Nasgovitz- treasurerI have been a part of CFR since 2019. I am currently the business manager at Ecumenical Partnership for Housing where I coordinate volunteers, donations, maintenance, and accounting. I have 3 sons. The two oldest attend UWGB and my youngest is a senior at Wisconsin Virtual Academy. We have 3 dogs and a tortoise that rounds out our family.
