Program Director: This role is vital to the heartbeat of the ranch. The Program Director will work closely with staff, mentors and volunteers to maintain services that uphold our core values and mission statement. The PD is responsible for scheduling of sessions and mentors/volunteers, intake assessments for new clients, writing progress reports and tracking client information.
We are looking for someone who can dream big, be flexible to grow with a growing client base, and be able to create organizational program goals and strive to see them fulfilled. This person must be team oriented and work well with others. They will be interacting with clients, volunteers and the Director on a regular basis. This position offers a lot of variation in day-to-day work, along with room to share ideas to help expand our current programming. The ideal candidate is be self-drive, vision oriented, able to prioritize, keep organized and work exceptionally well with others. There would also be a degree of mentoring while our mentor base expands, training provided! There are a ton of personal and professional growth opportunities in this job!! Outreach Specialist & Mentor This newly created position is vital to the heartbeat of the ranch. The Outreach Engagement Specialist works closely with staff and volunteers to maintain services that uphold our core values and mission statement. This person works closely with our community base, and reaches to expand our connection. The OES is be responsible for keeping up to date/ expanding our social media platforms, keeping the community pages up to date, attend networking events in area communities to promote business, scheduling/registering networking events. This individual is in charge of recruiting volunteers for events or other purposes, keep a running file of contacts. Event planning & donor appreciation are vital to this role. The Outreach Specialist will have opportunity to create video content for our website and events. Th Another key aspect of this job will also be mentoring youth in our program at the ranch. All training provided, as well as on-going support and training sessions.
This job does offer some flexibility for you to work around your schedule. Must be a hard-working, self-starter, community involvement focused. This is a great way for someone to build community connections and be an active team member for a great cause. This newly created position is all about community connections, marketing and helping create key events. Some of the goals within the job are volunteer recruiting, creating social media content, and keeping our website up to date.
Mentors: Mentors are very core to our Spurs and Bridges programs and truly make a life long impact on their kiddos. Mentors meet individually with a session youth and an equine friend. Mentors spend ninety minutes with each youth providing ranch, equine (riding and non-riding) and non-equine opportunities. Our mentors have a heart to make a positive impact to some of the most vulnerable and hurting youth. Your unconditional love & shoulder-to-shoulder ranch time creates a place for kids to know they matter, that they belong and that they make a difference. It is a place of humbling and amazing transformation and restoration.
Must be willing to commit to mentoring for a minimum of one year, typically on a weekly or every other week basis. Schedules remain consistent throughout the school year, summer schedule may not be the same as the school year. Mentors are be paid on a per session basis. Please click here to apply.
